What: St. Croix Archery Academy – JOAD

When: The 2021 Spring JOAD/Adult Achievement program will meet every week beginning the week of April 6th and ending the week of June 15th. Participants can choose to attend as many sessions as their schedule permits, but all archers should strive to attend at least 50% of the sessions to get the most out of the program.

Who: There is no age limit, but the archer should be at the intermediate level or above, have their own archery equipment and be interested in competing in indoor and 3D target archery. This program will focus primarily on USA Archery – JOAD/Adult Achievement distances, but NFAA and S3DA distances will also be covered. Contact Coach Dan Hastings for questions.

Cost: $20.00* per person/per session

$60.00* – family max/per session

Purpose: Provide an on-going learning environment and structured practice sessions for intermediate and above archers. The spring sessions will get archers ready for the outdoor target season, while the fall session will prepare archers for the indoor target season.

There will be approximately 3-4 JOAD/Adult Achievement Pin shoots scheduled during the Advanced JOAD program. Scores achieved during these shoots are eligible for JOAD/Adult Achievement awards***.

Expectations: In addition to lectures and group discussions, time will be spent with each individual archer one-on-one. During this time, participants will be videotaped, and the results reviewed.
